On Sunday, November 11, 2018, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a physical domestic violence complaint at a business parking lot off KY 770. When deputies arrived, they located a female subject who was physically fighting with her boyfriend. An investigation as conducted and it was learned that the subject had apparently slashed the tires of the rental car the two were in, as well as attempted to break the window with a rock. The subject, identified as 27-year-old Crystal Howard, was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief, as well as a probation violation. She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
