The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office conducted a county wide drug roundup in the early morning hours of Wednesday, November 14, 2018. During “Operation November to Remember,” authorities sought 17 individuals throughout Laurel County on charges of drug trafficking and possession. Four teams of sheriff’s deputies were assisted by London City Police and Kentucky State Police, armed with arrest warrants based on undercover investigations conducted by detectives James Sizemore and Bryon Lawson. As the result of a three month undercover investigation, a total of 17 individuals were arrested and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
