On Monday, November 26, 2018, Martin City Police Office Brad Stidham was patrolling the KY RT 122 Printer community around 10:30am when he initiated a traffic stop on a black 2007 Ford Focus after noticing the license plate did not match the vehicle in the NCIC system. An investigation was conducted with the assistance of the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and their K9 unit. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of crystal meth, suboxone, and a substantial amount of cash. Dennis Wilkins, 37, of Louisville, was charged arrested and lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center.
