On Friday, November 30, 2018, around 3:30pm, the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crimes Branch arrested 45-year-old Charles Hall on charges related to child sexual exploitation. This arrest was the result on an Internet Crimes Against Children Investigation, which began after the suspect was discovered using social media to engage in sexual conduct and communication with a minor. The investigation resulted in the execution of an arrest warrant at Hall’s residence in Jackhorn in Letcher County. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. Hall was lodged in the Letcher County Jail.
