Two Arrested for Theft in Knox County, Third Suspect Sought

On Thursday, December 13, 2018, Knox County Deputy Claude Hudson responded to a reported theft at a residence on Arbor Drive in Gray. After arriving at the location, Deputy Hudson learned three individuals fled on foot when they were seen attempting to take the tires and wheels off of a 2004 Ford SUV. During the investigation it was also learned the identity of the three individuals involved in the theft. On Friday, December 14, 2018, Deputy Hudson arrested 34-year-old Joshua Lawson and 31-year-old Lonna Jones, both of Gray, charging them with attempted theft by unlawful taking and criminal mischief. Lawson and Jones were both lodged in the Knox County Detention Center. A third individual has not yet been located.
