The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest while investigating a drug complaint on Tuesday, December 18, 2018. The arrest occurred off Little Arthur Ridge Road around 6:55pm while deputies investigated a drug complaint. While questioning the individual, identified as 30-year-old Donald Johnson of Slate Lick Road, he gave deputies false information on his identification. Additionally, it was determined the individual was under the influence and had an outstanding bench warrant. Johnson was arrested for public intoxication, giving false information to an officer, and a bench warrant charging public intoxication and contempt of court. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
