If you are looking for a way to dispose of your old cut Christmas trees this season, the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources will accept natural Christmas trees now through January 15, 2019 at 39 drop-off locations in 34 counties. Trees must be free of lights, ornaments, garland, and any other decorations. The trees will be used to create brush reefs and nursery habitats for Kentucky’s fish population. To find the nearest drop-off location, visit fw.ky.gov.
