Kentucky State Police arrested two men on Thursday, January 3, 2019, after they crashed on KY 1210 in the Manton area, also known as Stephens Branch, just outside of Martin. The pursuit began on US 23 in Prestonsburg, continued onto KY RT 114, turning on to KY RT 404, then ending on KY 1210 when the driver lost control and crashed the Pontiac Grand Prix he was operating. After a short foot pursuit through a creek, the driver, identified as 30-year-old James Sexton, and 29-year-old Christopher Sexton, both from Martin, were taken into custody and charged with several traffic offenses and active warrants. Both men were lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing and more details will be released as they become available.
