Reports in Floyd County indicate a bear has been sighted in a mobile home park in the Dwale community. We spoke with Denzil Hall, landlord of the Dwale Mobile Home Park, to find out more on the incident. We reached out to the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Bear Program Coordinator John Hast to find out what they’re able to do about the situation. The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office said deputies have been patrolling the area at night to help with the problem and urge residents of the neighborhood to call dispatch if they encounter the animal.
