A fugitive from Indiana was arrested in Laurel County on Saturday, January 5, 2019. The arrest occurred off Level Green Road in Keavy around 3:22pm, after the subject, identified as 28-year-old Curtis Wayne Lewis, was found hiding in a closet. Lewis was determined to be a wanted fugitive by Cass County Indiana on two outstanding warrants, including burglary of a dwelling and possession of marijuana. Indiana will extradite the individual. Lewis was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
