Attorney General Andy Beshear announced on Thursday, January 10, 2019 that his office is finalizing settlements with automaker Fiat Chrysler and auto parts supplier Bosch. When final, over 2,000 Kentuckians will receive restitution, with a combined payment of more than $1 million to Kentucky. Kentuckians impacted are those who purchased or leased 2014-2016 Jeep Grand Cherokees or Ram 1500 Diesel trucks manufactured by Fiat Chrysler that Beshear and other states allege contained illegal rigged emission device software supplied by Bosch. Restitution in the multi-state settlement could total over $300 million.
