The Scioto County Sheriff’s Office reports that an arrest has been made following an investigation after receiving a report from a concerned parent on Thursday, January 10, 2019 that their 12-year-old daughter was talking to a man on her cell phone. Through social media, it was learned the man, identified as 20-year-old Niles Eady of Louisiana, had sent messages wanting to meet at a hotel near his home. The investigating detective made contact with the Deridder Police Department who assisted her. The suspect was arrested without incident on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Eady was charged with indecent behavior with juveniles, child pornography, and computer aided solicitation of a minor. He is being held without bond.
