The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office made an assault arrest on Sunday, January 20, 2019. The arrest occurred around 6:21pm off Sepulvada Boulevard after deputies were dispatched to an apparent physical altercation between a male and female subject there. Upon arrival, deputies found the male subject locked in a bedroom and an investigation was conducted upon his exit. It was learned an assault occurred where a female subject was pushed down and a physical altercation occurred. William Ketchum, 57, of Lily, was charged with assault domestic violence and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
