Floyd County Superintendent Danny Adkins has announced the results for District 57 High School Governor’s Cup competition. The competition was held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Floyd Central high School. The Kentucky Association for Academic Competition is the governing body for this competition. In the final standings, Floyd Central High School placed 1st overall, in Future Problem Solving, and Quick Recall, followed in 2nd place by Prestonsburg High School.

The Future Problem Solving and English Composition competitions will be February 11, 2019 and all other written assessments and quick recall competition will be February 16, 2019 at Johnson Central High School.
