On Monday, February 4, 2019, the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office receive a call of a shooting victim having arrived at Buchanan General Hospital. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victims, 35-year-old Michelle Blevins, had been shot in the head, and possible dropped off at the hospital by the suspect. The suspect’s vehicle was identified through surveillance video. Investigation showed the incident as taking place at a residence on Tivis Ridge in Dickenson County. Investigators identified the suspect as Rocky Reynolds. A warrant was obtained and Reynolds was arrested for attempted murder. He was lodged in the Haysi Regional Jail.
