On Tuesday, February 5, 2019, Louisa Police Chief Greg Fugitt and members of the Drug Interdiction Cooperative Enforcement program served 12 warrants on three subjects located on Clay Street in Louisa. Arrested were Michael Blankenship, 44, Cody Blankenship, 23, and Crystal Wheeler, 41. Charges include trafficking in controlled substance, possession of drugs and paraphernalia, assault, theft, and trespassing. All subjects were lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center. Also assisting in the arrests were Deputy Sgt. Mason Keefer and Constable Daniel Castle.
