On Sunday, February 3, 2019, deputies with the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office were on patrol in the Loyall area and conducted a traffic stop in an area where they had received drug complaints. Through investigation it was discovered that a passenger in the vehicle, identified as 37-year-old Michelle Harp, was wanted on an active Harlan County District Court Bench Warrant. Additionally, a pipe containing methamphetamine and illegal prescription medications were also located. Harp was arrested and lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center.
