The Kentucky State Police are conducting a missing person investigation after a bicycle was observed near a river bank the afternoon of Sunday, February 24, 2019. The motorist who observed the bicycle over an embankment off Highway 550 near Hominy Mill Road informed KSP Post 13 that he thought he recognized it as belonging to someone he was familiar with. A team responded to the scene across from the old MC Napier High School and Sherman Neace Athletic Center. Personal items located at the scene and information from the caller led investigators to believe that the bicycle belongs to Danny “Tin Can” Napier of Darb Fork Road in Perry County. Danny Napier is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 175 pounds. He has brown eyes, long brown hair and a long beard. He was last seen by family members early Saturday morning at his residence. If you have any information on the whereabouts of Danny “Tin Can” Napier, contact KSP Post 13 at 606-435-6069.
