Lexington Man Arrested Following Human Trafficking Complaint

Attorney General Andy Beshear announced on Monday, March 11, 2019, that a 37-year-old Lexington man has been arrested on promoting prostitution and drug paraphernalia charges stemming from a human trafficking complaint. Beshear’s office, with the assistance of the Lexington Police Department, conducted a victim-centered investigation in regards to a human trafficking complaint. During the trauma informed investigation, Andre Hilliard was arrested on misdemeanor charges on March 7, 2019 and was lodged at Fayette County Community Corrections. The victim in the case was referred to services and more arrests are expected in the ongoing investigation.
