Terroristic Threatening Arrest in Knox County

On Tuesday, March 26, 2018, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office received information that 21-year-old Alexander Anderson, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, made threatening statements on social media to harm students and staff at Union College. A warrant of arrest was obtained and executed. During Anderson’s arrest, the subject attempting to provoke officers into fighting him and claimed that “everyone in Knox County was racist.” Anderson was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center. Arraignment was scheduled for Tuesday, April 2, 2019.
